Removing an existing Group

This guide explains how to permanently remove a group from your authn8 user account.

Step 1: Navigate to the Groups Page

From your dashboard, click on the "Groups" link in the sidebar to view all your saved groups.

Step 2: Locate the Group to Remove

Find the group you wish to remove in the list.

Step 3: Open the Action Menu

Click on the ellipsis icon () on the right side of the group row to open a dropdown menu of actions.

Step 4: Initiate Removal

Select "Remove" from the dropdown menu. This option is highlighted in red to indicate a destructive action.

Step 5: Confirm Removal

A confirmation dialog will appear to ensure you don't accidentally remove a group. This is a critical step because removal is permanent.

Step 6: Finalize Removal

If you are certain you want to proceed, click the "Yes, remove it!" button in the dialog. The group will be permanently removed from your authn8 user account.


The group has now been successfully removed. This does not remove the accounts or users that were in the group.
