Removing an Account

This guide explains how to permanently remove an account from your authn8 user account.

Step 1: Navigate to the Accounts Page

From your dashboard, click on the "Accounts" link in the sidebar to view all your saved accounts.

Step 2: Locate the Account to Remove

Find the account you wish to remove in the list.

Step 3: Open the Action Menu

Click on the ellipsis icon () on the right side of the account row to open a dropdown menu of actions.

Step 4: Initiate Removal

Select "Remove" from the dropdown menu. This option is highlighted in red to indicate a destructive action.

Step 5: Confirm Removal

A confirmation dialog will appear to ensure you don't accidentally remove an account. This is a critical step because removal is permanent.

Step 6: Finalize Removal

If you are certain you want to proceed, click the "Yes, remove it!" button in the dialog. The account will be permanently removed from your authn8 user account.


The account has now been successfully removed. If you need to secure this service again in the future, you will have to repeat the process of adding a new account.
